Dual extraction tincture* made of pure, high-quality chaga that is wild harvested from central or northern Wisconsin. The chaga is clean, fresh, pesticide, and lead tested. Chaga mushroom is packed with antiviral, anti-inflammatory, and anti-cancer substances that can help to support our immune system. Chaga contains key nutrients that are both water and non-water-soluble. This is where the alcohol comes in. The alcohol will extract the non-water-soluble compounds into our tinctures, such as betulinic acids and polysaccharides like beta-glucans.
What is a tincture? A tincture is an alcoholic extraction from plants, fungus, or other material. Tinctures are effective in extracting the medicinal components and preserving them for longer periods of time. Tinctures are also great because they're simple to use and easily absorbed by the body.
This tincture is about 70 percent water extracted and 30 percent alcohol extracted, “Dual extracted”. This provides both of the best worlds to fully extract all the bio-active compounds found in the fungi.
