Labrador Tea is an evergreen that grows in bogs and swamps. The tea has a rich history in America as it was used for brewing beer before hops were common.
The leaves are tonic and have a pleasant odor and a slightly spicy taste. They yield their virtues to hot water. Useful for coughs and can help reduce irritation of the membranes of the chest. The tea is also used to help one sleep. It is a very relaxing tea.

SUGGESTED CONSUMPTION LIMITS:
When drinking this tea, a diluted or weak form is recommended, Some people are sensitive to Labrador tea. Be careful if you are taking any medication. It is not advised to drink lab tea if you are pregnant. One should consume no more than 2 cups per day, one cup equals one tea bag or 2 - 4 grams of herb. Don't smoke it.
